Photo Etched Pure Titanium Now Available

PEI is pleased to announce that it has increased its photo-etching capabilities of exotic materials-including pure titanium--ten-fold.

Using a special copper-based etchant developed by PEl in conjunction with newly acquired processing equipment, PEl can now provide precision photo-etched parts of pure titanium and zircaloid/zirconium alloy for the medical, nuclear, automotive, and microwave/aerospace industries, among others. The unique ability to photo etch pure titanium for medical implantables brings PEl to the forefront of photoetching technology. The process can also be used for many other applications requiring non-corrosive metal parts.
