Custom Screens & Filters For Industrial & Medical Applications

PEI is introducing a new line of custom screens, strainers and filters targeted at the manufacturers and users of food processing equipment as well as a wide variety of industrial uses. These products can be almost any length, with a width of up to 30 in. (76.2 cm).

Fabricated from virtually any metal or alloy-including FDA-approved materials such as 316 stainless steel and pure nickel--these screens, strainers and filters meet the most stringent quality requirements for food, medical and industrial applications. These products are available in average thicknesses from 0.5 mil mil (0.0127 mm) to 100 mil (2.54 mm), with features as small as 4 mil (0.10 mm) on 0.010 in. (0.254 mm) centers. PEl excels in producing filters, screens and strainers in high-density patterns with up to 90% coverage. They can be fabricated in myriad shapes and sizes with round or hexagonal holes, ovals and slots.

PEl manufactures these products using the photo chemical machining process, which eliminates the burrs, stresses and deformation found in stamped parts. Because PEl uses photo tooling and does everything inhouse (photo tool-making, plating, forming etc.), we can offer quick turnaround at extremely competitive prices. Typical delivery of production orders is three weeks from receipt of order and customer prints.

PEls manufacturing process has achieved ISO-9002 certification, and also complies with MIL-I-45208 standards. We can supply prototypes that meet customer specifications, or our Custom Engineering Department can help customers design products that meet their specific requirements. Applications for PEls new line of screens, strainers and filters include electrical appliances, commercial electronics, and medical and biomedical equipment.
