Milford, Massachusetts, December 18, 2017.
Photofabrication Engineering Inc, a leading manufacturer and total solution provider of chemically machined precision and decorative parts, announced today that it has passed the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 and AS9100D registration audits.
Auditors from NQA conducted a thorough five day audit in December 2017 of PEI’s quality management system for its fabrication and production of precision and decorative parts serving aerospace, medical device, and commercial customers.
This audit was an upgrade from the former ISO:9001:2008 and AS9100C certifications said PEI’s Quality Manager Jim Texiera. The new standard reflects a much larger emphasis on risk management and an organizations context said Texiera. PEI was recognized in particular for the high degree of competency of its team members, both in management and production.
The outcomes of these audits are extremely important to our business and customers as we strive to improve upon our excellent reputation of providing consistent quality and delivery said Texiera.
Thank you to our customers and our registrar (NQA) for your continued support and enforcement of these standards that help keep our quality systems performance efficient and effective.
